Head 100 miles in any direction and the religion, language, and culinary customs will be totally different. The food experiences vary based on landscape and climate, immigration patterns, spices & crops grown, trade links, rulers, and religion. While the globally popular Indian vegetarian dishes are garlic naan, butter paneer, chana masala etc, when traveling through India be prepared to enjoy much more of the regional flavors.This series takes you to a region, we will cook-along the special cuisine and discover the culture of each region.

Punjabi Kadhi (onion fritters in a tangy yogurt gravy)

Jeera Chawal (Cumin flavored rice)

Bhoger Khichuri (Lentils-Rice-Veggies, a preparation served during festivities & ceremonies)

Tomato-Khejur cutney (Sweet decadent tomato & date chutney)
