“In 2022 when I visited the Dharamsala Animal Rescue in India, I was reminded of what selfless service looks like. It was extremely painful to witness the dogs in distress yet in their eyes there was nothing but love and hope. It’s like a little innocent child reaching out to you for help and affection. Their eyes speak. They really do. It doesn’t matter if it’s a pet or a street dog. They have a soul. That’s why I’m making this film.” -Harpreet Kaur
